I’m Vikki Viramontes-Castorena, your Assistant Principal, and I’m delighted that you’ve taken a moment to get to know me. With 25 years in education—as a classroom teacher and Assistant Principal, I’ve seen firsthand how strong partnerships between home and school power student growth and happiness.

Building a Caring Community
Every day, I work alongside our dedicated teachers and staff to create a warm, inclusive environment where every adolescent feels seen, heard, and valued. From morning check‑ins to schoolwide celebrations, I champion practices that foster respect, empathy, and connection among our 6th–8th graders.

Your insights and questions matter deeply to me. Whether it’s a quick phone call, an email update, or a Family Engagement workshop, I’m here to share resources, listen to your ideas, and support you in your child’s middle school journey. Together, we’ll navigate challenges—like attendance or social‑emotional needs—and celebrate milestones, big and small.

I lead professional development in transformational coaching so that every classroom offers high‑quality instruction paired with compassionate support. My goal is simple: empower each student to take positive risks, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for high school and beyond.
